This company is in the Building Construction industry. Client Details Client is a commercial builder/developer located in Syracuse, NY. They specialize in ground-up and remodel construction projects - mostly public, dorms, housing and commercial. All of the Building and Construction projects are in and around the central NY market. Description Construction Superintendent: Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and coordinate daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor on-site construction staff, subcontractors, and laborers, fostering a collaborative work environment. Quality Control: Monitor work progress and quality, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and training to promote a culture of safety on the job site. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, including scheduling conflicts, resource allocation, and unforeseen challenges. Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
