Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee Federal construction projects, including those for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and NAVFAC, HI . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital construction, federal compliance, and managing complex, multi-phase projects.   Key Responsibilities: Lead daily on-site construction operations and ensure adherence to project schedules and safety standards. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to maintain workflow and quality. Ensure compliance with Federal specifications. Conduct daily site inspections, safety meetings, and progress reporting. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and Owner representatives to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial or healthcare construction. Strong knowledge of OSHA and EM385-1-1 Standards. Ability to manage construction in occupied facilities . Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
Preferred Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety. USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM). CPR/First Aid Certification. EM383-1-1 40-Hour Class. STS (Safety Trained Supervisor) or CHST (Construction Healt and Safety Technician) is a plus.
