Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Construction Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating crews, ensuring project timelines and safety standards are met, and delivering quality workmanship from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and trades
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes
• Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed site reports
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and inspectors
• Order materials and manage inventory to avoid delays or shortages
• Resolve issues or conflicts that arise on the job site
• Provide training and guidance to workers as needed
• Maintain high standards of quality control and craftsmanship

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or a degree in construction management is a plus
• 5+ years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and technical documents
• Proficient in using construction management software and tools
• OSHA 30 certification
