Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) I The Construction Surveillance Technician's primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts. Performance shall include: Assesses, identifies and communicates recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems. Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks. Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders. Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead. Follows and enforces customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Performs miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative Conducts inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces. Photographs and continuously monitors the construction of secure spaces and documents all steps in order to support final accreditation packets. Required Experience: Bachelors Degree. In lieu of degree, must have 4 additional years of experience in addition to the 1-2 years experience listed below. 1 2 years related experience Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience. Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience. Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years. Desired Experience: Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements) Security Clearance: SECRET Clearance Required to start Must be able to attain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph The likely salary range for this position is $62,075 - $83,983. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
