JOB DESCRIPTION CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN

The Construction Technician will be a part of a team that builds homes to the highest standards with systems created for efficiency, effectively maintaining quality and timely completion to serve each client in an impactful way. This includes completing necessary detail work in order to get homes ready for the scheduled orientation date, maintaining a standard of quality and professionalism to ensure a remarkable home-buying experience.

  • Be prepared and able to complete ALL DETAILS (fill the gap): all caulking, paint touch-up, minor texture repairs, etc... and ANYTHING else that is not to Choice Management standards.

  • Develop an organizational system for yourself that allows you to be efficient and responsive.
  • Communicate daily with the rest of the maintenance team.
  • Inspect all work for quality and completion.
  • Hold trade partners accountable to company quality standards as applicable.
  • Communicate to the Maintenance Manager about progress, needs, and concerns.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager.


JOB HOURS

  • 40-45 hours per week (7:45am-5pm, M-F)
  • Lunch meetings are occasionally required.
  • After hours and weekends may be necessary on occasion for trips, events, or to meet deadlines.
  • Travel occasionally required.
