Riverside Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Construction/Maintenance Technician to join our team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all production/facility equipment
  • Performing unscheduled repairs of equipment as well as planned maintenance activities
  • Maintaining and repairing all stages of the building, parking lot (mowing/snow removal), and equipment such as HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, such as fuses and switches
  • Negotiating and scheduling service and repair work with outside vendors to ensure proper and prompt service
  • Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
  • Cuts and shapes structures, forms, or other fixtures from wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall.
  • Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
  • Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned


Requirements:

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in the following areas is preferred:
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  • General carpentry
  • Must be able to maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Must have ability to lift 60 lbs. as well as know and use proper lifting techniques
  • Ability to effectively use hand tools
  • Ability to sit or stand for an entire shift
  • Having intermittent periods of bending, reaching, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to work additional hours as required
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team
  • Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license (part of the responsibilities may be to drive a company vehicle)
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
