Drive the numbers that drive our projects.
At QISG, we don’t just manage projects—we deliver complex EPC solutions that power industries and connect communities. As a Cost Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of that mission, turning raw data into actionable insights that keep our projects on track, on budget, and built for success.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, analysis, and impact—and who wants the opportunity to work on challenging, high-visibility projects from concept to completion.
What You’ll Do
Own the numbers – Track, analyze, and forecast project costs, budgets, and trends for multi-year EPC projects.
Collaborate across teams – Partner with Project Managers, Operations Directors, and technical leads to keep financials aligned with project goals.
Manage change with precision – Handle cost changes, deviation notices, and risk analysis to anticipate and mitigate challenges.
Tell the story behind the data – Create clear, engaging reports and visuals in Power BI (or similar) for both clients and internal leadership.
Support project success from day one – Assist in developing Project Controls Execution Plans and ensure compliance with company standards.
Make your mark – Be the go-to resource for cost insights on a portfolio of high-impact projects.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
2–4 years of project controls experience, ideally on EPC design and construction projects.
Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of cost control, forecasting, change management, and risk assessment.
Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a way that’s clear and actionable for all stakeholders.
Tools & Tech: Experience with JDE, EcoSys, and/or Procore is a plus.
Why QISG
Be valued – Your insights will directly influence project decisions and outcomes.
Work on the big stuff – Multi-million-dollar, multi-year EPC projects with a tangible impact.
Collaborative culture – Work side-by-side with talented engineers, project managers, and leaders who respect and value your expertise.
Room to grow – Expand your skills in a role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to advance.
