Rightech is working with a national data center construction systems integrator who is looking to add 20 Data Center Technicians to their team in Manassas, V
The duration of the project will be 2 months, 12 hours day and night shift 7days a week .
The role will support the installation of structured cabling (fiber and copper) and critical data center environments. Specifically focused on pulling, patching and labeling.
Job Responsibilities: Cable infrastructure and Fiber rough in. Cable management (pulling, dressing and labeling). Cable and Fiber termination. Infrastructure installs (cable management, fiber tray systems, ladder racks, power trays). Read and follow blueprints set for installation. Follow written and oral communication displaying professionalism with colleagues and management. Follow safety guidelines and protocols (Proper PPE, clean up jobsite, OSHA).
Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalency. 2 years experience pulling, patching and labeling cables. ctive OSHA 10 - preferred. Physical Requirement: Must be able to work on a ladder and/or scissor lift, in confined spaces, lift to 50 pounds, and move up to 75 pounds. Ability to work on your feet for entire shift. Tools: Basic Hand Tools: screwdriver (multi-Bit), tape measure, snips, pliers (needle nose and channel locks), punch down tool, flashlight, electric tape PPE: Retention Style Hard hat, Level IV Cut Resistant Work Gloves, Safety Glasses, Level IV Safety vest, and work boots (steel toe or composite toe).
