Lead Electrician
We are seeking a skilled Lead Electrician to support the installation of electrical systems for infrastructure in data centers throughout Northern Virginia. The role involves installing and repairing control and distribution apparatus including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair control and distribution apparatus such as motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit-breaker panels.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
- Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve situations.
- Interpret plans, sketches, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Determine method and sequence of proposed installation of electrical fixtures and equipment, including AC/DC motors, control panels, PLCs, and switches.
Essential Skills
- 5 plus years of electrical construction experience.
- 4 plus years in the commercial/data center industry.
- Journeyman license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience with 10-50k square foot projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
