Job Description

Dig into project plans, specs, and requirements to fully understand the scope. Lead a team of estimators & precon managers to keep projects aligned. Figure out labor and equipment needs and what it's really going to cost. Double-check takeoffs and material pricing for accuracy. Spot risks in bid docs early so we're ahead of the curve. Get a good handle on project logistics and schedule impacts. Build out bid packages and break down competitive subcontractor and supplier pricing. Review numbers and quotes with the PM team to make sure everyone's on the same page. Put together estimates at all stages-from early concept to full construction docs. Jump in on post-bid buyouts when needed. Take the lead on RFP responses when they come through. And pitch in on other tasks as they come up-this is a team-first role.

The Successful Applicant

7-15 years of Commercial Preconstruction and/or estimating experience (tilt wall is a plus). Capable of estimating hard bid, negotiated, and conceptual projects. Able to lead a team of 3-5 estimators and preconstruction managers.

$135,000 - $165,000 base (dependent on tenure, project experience, and overall time in industry). 401k. Healthcare: medical, vision, dental. 3-weeks of PTO. $800+/month Truck Allowance. Tech package. $100+/month phone allowance. Annual Bonus (at least 10% of base).
