Director, Construction Sales

Reporting to: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) | Location: Boston, MA | Level: Management Leadership Team

Position Overview

Join the Quickbase Sales organization as a Director of Construction Sales. Reporting to our Chief Revenue Officer, you'll oversee two direct front-line sales managers and a team of 10 Account Executives responsible for driving business within our construction vertical. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a critical sales team while helping to scale and provide leadership within our entire go-to-market organization.

Responsibilities
•Lead a team of 2 managers and 10 geographically mapped Account Executives to close new business and manage existing customers within the construction vertical.
•Build and develop a strong team of sales professionals to provide exceptional customer experiences and achieve revenue goals.
•Coach and develop front-line managers to effectively drive team forecasts, conduct deal reviews, and monitor input metrics for continued success.
•Directly support sales professionals through mentorship, coaching, and guidance of the sales process.
•Conduct calibration sessions and deliver performance reviews, prioritizing initiatives and goals/results.
•Create a productive, high-energy, and achievement-oriented team culture.
•Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements, effectively leading change management initiatives.
•Consistently exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales quotas and growth targets.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to advocate for customer and sales professional needs with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer success.
•Drive adoption of processes and key metrics that improve team performance.
•Reinforce formal sales processes and methodologies.
•Demonstrate a deep technical understanding of the Quickbase product, the PaaS market, and SaaS sales models.
•Master the nuances of the construction industry and how Quickbase uniquely positions itself in the space.
•Partner with marketing to ensure alignment on messaging, strategize new ways of capturing customer leads, and develop content for all stages of the sales cycle.

Desired Skills and Experience
•7+ years of sales leadership experience, including direct experience building and leading data-driven sales teams and influencing go-to-market strategy for the segment.
•2+ years of experience managing managers and a proven ability to elevate teams through direct coaching and strategic guidance.
•Track record of sales teams performing at or above goals for sustained periods.
•Experience hiring and leading high-performing sales teams.
•Demonstrated success in driving adoption of sales processes and key metrics.
•Keen attention to detail in order to move the needle on performance; willingness to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into the business with Account Executives and managers.
•Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
