About the Role: We're looking for a detail-oriented Draftsman with a passion for residential design and a solid working knowledge of drafting software to join our design and production team. You'll be responsible for producing precise construction documents that guide the building of high-quality modular homes. Your work will involve translating client selections and structural requirements into accurate drawings using tools like AutoCAD. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in the modular construction industry while applying technical drafting skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

What You'll Do:- Prepare and revise construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and technical layouts (, electrical, plumbing, HVAC), with drafting tools such as AutoCAD.- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure plans reflect customer preferences and comply with internal specifications.- Interpret architectural sketches and technical notes to develop buildable and code-compliant documents.- Ensure that all drawing sets align with New York State building codes and modular construction standards.- Review and incorporate redlines and field updates to maintain the accuracy of construction plans.- Manage file organization and document control for all assigned projects.- Identify potential constructability issues during the drafting phase and communicate recommended adjustments.

What You Bring: - Strong skills in 2D drafting software (AutoCAD experience is required)- Basic understanding of architectural design and building systems- Ability to read and produce residential construction documents- Excellent attention to detail and file organization- Strong collaboration and communication skills across departments- Degree or coursework in Drafting, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus, but not required- Eagerness to learn and grow within a team committed to quality homebuilding
