Electrical Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of electrical prefabrication and construction projects. This role serves as the critical link between the field and the Virtual Design & Construction team, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and quality of project deliverables.
The Project Coordinator ultimately owns the QA/QC and execution of assigned projects-ensuring that drawings, material schedules, and other deliverables are not only technically accurate but also practical and constructible in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, Review and Validate VDC Output Deliverables, including:
- Prefabricated modular spool drawings
- Electrical installation drawings
- Modular material schedules
- Ensure Constructability of models from a field perspective
- QA/QC Responsibilities for all assigned project deliverables
- Participate in and Represent the department in coordination meetings
- Provide Field Insight to improve prefabrication models and workflows
- Collaborate Cross-functionally with project teams to coordinate modularized 3D models
- Support Team Members with layout strategies and implementation of modularized systems
- Coach and Mentor less experienced team members in constructability and layout strategies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Electrical Construction Experience: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, means, and methods
- Field Layout Expertise: Experience laying out electrical work and leading team layouts
- Mechanical Aptitude and practical mindset toward constructability
- Spatial Awareness & Visualization: Ability to understand and interpret 3D models and spaces
- QA/QC Experience in prefabrication and installation documentation preferred
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in or willing to learn:
- Bluebeam
- Revit
- Navisworks
- Excel Sheets
- Autodesk construction cloud
- Computer literacy and adaptability to new tools
