We have been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for an Electrical Project Manager in Chicago, Illinois . Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $90,000 – $110,000

Experience Preferred
Hospitals, wastewater treatment plants, and airports
Background as an Estimator or Project Engineer
Field experience is a strong plus
Key Responsibilities
Oversee full electrical construction scope from preconstruction through close-out
Interface with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews
Ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with design specifications
Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to produce layouts and materials lists
Manage all financial aspects including budgets, buyouts, billing, and change orders
Approve transactions, subcontractor requisitions, material purchases, etc.
Maintain project documentation and logs
Contribute to value engineering, project accounting, and BIM coordination
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
2–4 years of electrical project management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera), and BIM/CAD tools
Union or non-union backgrounds welcome Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred but not required: PMP Certification To Apply:
