Our Engineering Manager oversees engineering and technical design of industrial engineering, generally optimizing the complex processes and systems to minimize waste. Create and supervises capital project schedule, budget, and communications with stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

· Tackle new problems, propose new products, and develop strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and/or operational process

· Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies.

· Manage medium to large capital projects from concept through completion

· Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel.

· Determine the need for training and talent development.

· Assures that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.

· Collaborates with other team leaders and departments.

· Forges and maintains relationships with suppliers and contractors.

· Company travel as required with overnight stays

Requirements and skills

· Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role

· Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems

· Communication skills for overseeing staff and working with other management personnel

· Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems

· Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets, employees, and schedules

· Experience using 2D AutoCAD software required

· 4-5 years relevant work experience with 2+ years of Engineering management experience

· BS in engineering required

· Prior experience in Industrial Laundry / Linen Supply facility desired
