We're looking for a skilled Construction Estimator to be the go-to expert for cost forecasting, bid analysis, and value engineering within our development team. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Development, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping every major capital project, turning early-stage concepts into financially sound plans ready to break ground.

In This Role, You'll:

  • Create accurate cost estimates for construction and renovation projects.
  • Analyze drawings to complete material and labor takeoffs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for pricing and market insights.
  • Lead RFPs, bid evaluations, and recommend awards.
  • Develop and refine budgets throughout project design phases.
  • Propose value engineering solutions that maintain brand standards.
  • Stay current on costs, labor trends, and construction practices.
  • Provide timely cost data to support executive decision-making.

This Role is for You If You:

  • 5+ years of construction estimating experience, preferably in large-scale hospitality, resort, or mixed-use projects
  • Deep knowledge of construction trades, sequencing, and pricing structures
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and technical documents across disciplines
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Plan Swift, Bluebeam Revu, Sage Estimating, and Excel-based models)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple project timelines
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence able to present findings to senior leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
  • Gained familiarity with CSI divisions and uniform estimating frameworks
  • Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, and development stakeholders
  • Understanding of permitting timelines, long-lead items, and cost variance impacts
  • Hospitality or entertainment construction experience is a plus
