About the Role:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for executing takeoffs, estimating, and assembly of deliverables. The individual will provide advocacy, leadership, value, and responsiveness in collaboration with internal and external teams. With confidence and professionalism, the Estimator assembles budgets and proposals, and with an understanding of client expectations. Our Estimators provide creative solutions and smart choices, along the pathway to a remarkable experience. This individual will provide support to Pre-Construction Managers in larger project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver projects by utilizing different contract types, requirements, and delivery methods
Prepare bid scopes, obtain bids from trade partners and material vendors, and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders
Maintain files including projects, correspondence, drawings, and presentation proposals.
Create a variety of documents, reports, and records including agenda, minutes, executive summaries, and advertisement for bids, bid tabulation reports, bid forms, and proposals
Schedule internal and external meetings such as post-bids, kick-offs, orientations, and design/budget reviews
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in preconstruction processes
What Were Looking For:
Associates (A.A.) degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and trade partners
Valid drivers license
