ECS is seeking a Facilities Construction Project Manager to work in one of the following Silver Spring, MD, Newport, RI or Seattle, WA offices.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Infrastructure Project Manager who will be tasked with supporting and leading efforts to build/modernize new maritime port facilities supporting the NOAA Mission and Fleet. As a Mid-Senior level professional, you will be the interface between PIAD and NOAA customers for the construction of NOAA's facilities, including the Navy Base in Newport, RI, and marine facility in Charleston, SC.
Must be located within commuting distance of Silver Spring, MD, Newport, RI or Seattle, WA.
While a background in Project Management and construction is essential, prior experience in engineering, working with the government, and/or constructing maritime facilities is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, capable of independently managing tasks and projects, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role demands excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to adapt to various challenges and responsibilities.
The candidates must be able to obtain a US Government-issued CAC card for access to the facilities.
What to expect:
Work closely with the NOAA infrastructure program management team to support NOAA infrastructure projects; limited travel is required.
Assist/lead with design and review of construction drawings, request for information, submittal review, onsite construction quality assurance, schedule review, earned value review, design changes, and change orders.
Provide owner oversight and familiarity with all trades associated with facility construction.
Will manage documentation and communications associated with all aspects of facility construction.
Lead/Support meetings, ensuring actions and decisions are made, and take a self-directed approach to problem-solving.
Multitask effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination between all parties.
Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring that project documentation and records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000
General Description of Benefits Prior experience or background in Project Management with a focus on infrastructure projects, preferably with NAVFAC or Government projects.
Familiarity with document control management, earned value, risk management, and weekly report outs.
Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to figure things out and find practical solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to take comprehensive meeting notes.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheets, and project management software.
Ability to pass a NACI Background Check and obtain a CAC.
