Pipeline Construction Tech

Responsibilities: As a pipeline construction tech, the main responsibility will be in creating/managing pipeline construction job books. Also, provide technical support and oversight to all operational and regulatory activities as assigned within the Business Unit. This includes gas/NGL/Crude pipelines, gas conditioning/processing, compression and dehydration, as well as metering and construction.

Qualifications: Previous experience as a pipeline construction inspector is a plus. Knowledge in designing pipeline construction job books that meet all legal compliances. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office. Excellent management skills. Demonstrates the ability to effectively deliver project scope, economic evaluation, cost estimation, scheduling, vendor evaluation/selection/management, material/equipment procurement, and reporting. Strong interest in pipeline design and related industry equipment operations and maintenance codes and practices including measurement and Cathodic protection, compression design, gas conditioning and dehydration design, system planning/optimization, gas and liquid pipeline hydraulics, processing and fractionation operation. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization. Self-motivated and requires little supervision. Team-oriented. Must be able to wear hard hat/helmet, safety glasses, goggles, safety shoes/boots, hearing protectors, safety vest and gloves. Exposure to extreme temperatures, animals/insects, electrical hazards, confined spaces, heights, noise, dust, irritants, and moving mechanical parts may occur, but will be very minimal.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the 'core work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain its status. Extended hours may be required based on the business need.
