Federal Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee several federal projects in the DMV area. The role involves managing 2-3 projects totaling approximately $15M, focusing on the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects. Responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operational aspects of federal construction projects, reviewing scope of work, engaging subcontractors, and coordinating site visits for bidding purposes. Additionally, the role involves estimating and bidding task order contracts and IDIQs, scheduling projects, including subcontractor management, and providing project management to federal government construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The project manager will assist with estimating by reviewing the scope of work and aligning subcontractors, engage with clients, and maintain strong client relationships.

Essential skills include project management expertise in construction, experience in construction management, design, engineering, and estimation, proficiency in project management for federal government construction projects, 10+ years of federal construction experience, including NAVFAC and GSA, and experience running IDIQ and Sole Source contracts for government agencies. Additional skills and qualifications include help with scheduling, computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, etc.), ability to manage projects between joint venture companies, degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred, and construction field experience.

The work environment for the Project Manager will be from the Waldorf office with the internal team, with light travel to job sites within the DMV area. The team is part of a fast-growing GC with partnerships with well-established companies, offering a wealth of opportunities. The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $67.30/hr. This is a fully onsite position in Waldorf, MD.
