Ledcor is seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to join our team for a large-scale long-haul fiber instillation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations, develops project plans, and monitors performance. Recognized as an expert, they anticipate client needs and provide solutions, sharing expertise and mentoring colleagues. This position will start in the state of Minnesota. However, it will require the ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Essential Responsibilities
Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project Participates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff Qualifications Three to five years of experience in as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices Effective Communication and leadership skills Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues Strong organizational and planning skills Working Conditions Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.) This is a site position that will require travel 100% of the time. The assignment will start in the state of Minnesota then move to different states
