Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Force Account Manager to perform construction engineering and inspections on a variety of construction projects including railroad, bridge and highway in Connecticut. Come join our team on these exciting projects!
Responsibilities are included but not limited to:
Provides document management and project controls support which includes the receipt, inventory, audit, tracking, storage, retrieval and distribution of both classified and unclassified electronic, paper and other media project data and documents according to company policy, and proper procedures for the projects.
Manages the set up and maintenance of document control / records management for multiple projects and Project Managers.
Ensures that all local practices and activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Applies sound professional judgment and independent thought on details of work.
Resolves questions and problems related to document management and project controls.
Develops and implements standardized processes for document control across multiple projects to improve efficiency and consistency.
Collaborates with Project Managers to establish project-specific document control requirements and ensures their implementation.
Conducts regular audits of document control systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Provides training and guidance to team members on document control procedures and best practices.
Manages the archiving and retention of project documents in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.
Coordinates with IT department to maintain and improve electronic document management systems.
Prepares regular reports on document control activities and project status for management review.
Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors regarding document control and project records.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Requirements:
Additional inspection certifications / licenses
Experience working with the Connecticut Dept. of Transportation (CTDOT), Metro-North
Additional Information

Relocation is not available for this position.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $95,000.00 - $115,000.00.
