Conexon is a rapidly growing company working with Rural Electric Cooperatives to build advanced fiber to the home (FTTH) networks nationwide. We are currently looking for a Project Supervisor to join the Construction Management team for a client in Colorado Springs, CO.

We are looking for qualified candidates for onsite project management that have extensive experience in all facets of constructing a FTTH network. FTTH project supervisors must be organized and have good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with clients, cooperative members, and co-workers. Current opportunity includes work onsite with some travel required.

Required Skills:

Construction management:

• Assist onsite Project Manager with main duties
• Develop project schedule to meet client objectives and Conexon revenue objectives
• Develop and communicate milestones and schedules

2. Make Ready

5. Service drops

• Evaluate, improve, and approve construction specifications
• Hire and supervise onsite personnel
• Produce production tracking reports to project manager
• Monitor production and make corrections as necessary
• Provide support for clients with construction issues or questions
• Participate in construction RFP process for clients
• Educate contractors on cooperative specific architecture
• Make-ready evaluation and proposed solutions
• Understanding of FTTH plant design
• A thorough understanding of utility attachments, ROW permitting, material management, construction and quality control
• Cost control for the client and Conexon
• Understanding of NESC standards
• Production verification and invoice reconciliation with production
• Service drop installation tracking and assignment
• Fiber optic testing procedures
• Perform onsite project management duties:

1. Design approval
2. Ride out edits
3. Quality control
4. Production verification

General duties:

• Assist in promotion and sales of Conexon services
• Participation in weekly client conference calls
• Evaluate and advise on FTTH construction techniques

This is a salary position with a pay range of $70,000-$90,000/year.
