MG+M The Law Firm (MG+M) is seeking to add an Associate Attorney to our General Liability and Construction Defect practice group in any of our four California offices (San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Los Angeles, and Irvine). The candidate should have about three (3) to six (6) years of experience in handling Defense General Liability and Construction Defect cases. Our goal is always to deliver optimal results at the best possible value. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Handle local and statewide accounts throughout California. Independently manage a litigation caseload. Conduct depositions. Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial. Review and analyze discovery requests. Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings. Prepare court filings and serve counsel; experience with e-filing. Assist in trial preparation and support. Maintain accurate time records. Candidate Requirements: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in general liability and/or construction defect practice areas. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Must be admitted to practice in California. Experience with motion practice and depositions. Experience leading plaintiff and expert depositions. Capable of working independently.
