Job Description

As a General Superintendent, you will be responsible for the daily management of all on-site construction activities, ensuring safety compliance, quality assurance, and efficient coordination between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all phases of construction from site preparation through final delivery.
• Maintain project schedules, coordinate work sequencing, and proactively resolve field issues.
• Enforce company safety standards and OSHA regulations on-site.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site meetings with project managers, engineers, and trade partners.
• Collaborate with the project team to manage cost control and change order processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to assistant superintendents and field staff.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
• Strong background in ground-up multifamily or commercial residential construction.
• Thorough knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and trade sequencing.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with project management software, scheduling tools, and reporting systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
