About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Construction to spearhead the delivery of its expanding portfolio of distributed solar and battery energy storage projects. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the organization's mission to enhance community-scale clean energy infrastructure and support local and underserved communities. This pivotal role involves overseeing EPC relationships, managing project delivery from inception to commissioning, and ensuring that the company's strong project fundamentals and growth plan are upheld. The Head of Construction will be responsible for directing and managing EPC and O&M partners, overseeing site progress, QA/QC, procurement, and construction reporting, as well as leading contract negotiations and relationship management with vendors and contractors.

Applicants for the Head of Construction position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in renewable energy or utility-scale construction, with a proven track record in community or C&I solar project delivery. Experience in battery storage or data center projects is highly valued. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is required. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple EPC partners and complex construction timelines, and must be entrepreneurial, proactive, and passionate about equitable energy access.
