High End Construction Sr Project Manager

Pitzer Construction company, Inc (PCC) is looking for a project manager to join our team.
This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of high end construction remodels and New custom home projects from start to finish.
Our current Job sites are located in the greater los angeles area varying in distance from Palos Verdes up through the Pacific Palisades and Primarily in the Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Brentwood, Palisades Locations.
Candidates MUST currently be able to provide and maintain a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) to be eligible for employment with Pitzer Construction Company, Inc.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced environments.
The position is a salary based position and based on working various hours Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm.
Responsibilities:
1.
Manage the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring that projects are staying on schedule, and to the required quality standards set forth by the company management. 2. Managing Personnel - Oversee construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel, including setting schedules, reviewing time cards, monitoring performance, and ensuring they have the necessary resources. 3. Ensuring Safety - Ensure that all activities comply with legal, health, and safety regulations, including identifying and managing potential hazards. Reporting all on-site injuries to office. 4. Maintaining Detailed Records - Keep accurate records of project progress by updating Daily and Weekly logs using internal software BuilderTrend. 5. Collaborating with others - Work with Other Project Managers, Asst. Project managers/Site supervisors , Engineers, architects and Inspectors to ensure that all activities align with the project plan. 6. Ordering Materials - Order and manage the inventory of construction materials to ensure a steady supply 7. Problem Solving - Resolve any issues that may arise and troubleshoot any problems that may interrupt the timeline or budget of the project 8. Deliver on-time, in-budget construction projects - Responsible for maintaining the profitability and on-time Completion of the entire construction projects) being performed. Executing projects within the intended scope, timeframe, and funds. As a project manager you will be expected to work multiple small jobs at the same time or may be assigned to one larger Long term job. 9. Communicate with Company Management - Be an onsite representative for the Company Owners while meeting with Subcontractors, inspectors, architects, designers and clients. Project Manage throughout the project lifecycle to understand/set expectations, establish timelines, and grow the relationship. 10. Manage resources - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors and subcontractors to identify and allocate the necessary resources for each project. 11. Track and communicate progress - reports to President/ CEO and/Or Chief Operating Officer/C.O.O. Weekly if not Daily via using Company Software BuilderTrend to report meeting minutes per job. Key Performance Criteria:

Assisting in the successful completion of projects) resulting in the achievement of the projected fee. a. Once the project has been awarded, issue contracts and "buys-out" the project. b. Writing all Client and Job-Driven Change Orders and ensuring signatures are received prior to work being performed c. Coordinate work with architects, designers and engineers to get job on schedule d. Develop and maintain good client and supplier relationships at all times 2. Development of accurate and well-documented audit trail through Daily Logs as recorded in Slack App / CMIS and maintenance of Meeting Minutes of all onsite meetings between PCC and Client or Architect or Engineer or City Inspectors which will aid the company in the event of future legal liability. a. maintain job site supervision, proper project records and documents. Maintains the job site security and assigns lock-up as noted in daily log with activity, communications, ordering, and subcontracts issued. 3. Quality of team work and Competence and morale of Support Staff. Adherence to the intent of PCC Company policies and procedures. a. Work as a team with Project Superintendent (if any), Project Engineer, and Estimating to assist as needed. b. Cost code and approve invoices from subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for payment approval Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2-3 years Onsite Project Management Experience or 5 years experience in onsite High End Construction project management Experience, with references CA Contractors License is a plus but not required Excellent written and verbal communications, Bilingual Spanish a plus but not required Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization Passion for managing teams and driving results Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement Experience in using BuilderTrend a plus but not required MUST be able to read Blue Prints and willing to take a Blue print test at time of interview   About Pitzer Construction Company, Inc: We are a small family run multi Generation construction company building high end custom homes in the Los Angeles area for more than 40 years.
