HR Talent Acquisition Generalist
A growing construction company with a 75+ year history is seeking an HR Talent Acquisition Generalist. This newly created position involves recruiting for key roles such as Superintendents, APMs, PMs, and corporate functions. Responsibilities include drafting job descriptions, posting jobs, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate flow. Additionally, the role involves attending college career fairs and building campus relationships, with a primary focus on permanent hires and support for as-needed hiring based on project timelines and market demands.
The HR Generalist role will involve building and leading the company's internship program, typically 6 weeks long. This includes developing relationships with local colleges and community programs, conducting onboarding and check-ins with interns and full-time staff, running and managing the annual performance review process, conducting exit interviews, and supporting employee engagement and employee relations initiatives.
The successful applicant will have 5+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in the construction industry, and a Bachelor's degree. The candidate should be comfortable working across both recruiting and HR functions.
What's on offer includes a base salary up to $90K, performance-based bonuses, and 1 day of hybrid flexibility per week.
