THE WORK:
Oversee and ensure all construction activities comply with contract documents, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines, verifying adherence to plans and specifications.
Conduct daily field inspections to monitor ongoing work, ensuring compliance with designs and regulations, and document deviations.
Identify non-compliant work or practices proactively and take corrective action to prevent delays or issues.
Notify senior leadership of critical issues, safety concerns, or delays for swift resolution.
Track and document all on-site construction activities, resources, and personnel, ensuring proper resource use and schedule adherence.
Oversee project record keeping, reporting, and deliverables to ensure accurate documentation and stakeholder communication.
Evaluate contractor performance regularly, providing guidance and corrective measures to meet project objectives.
Manage contractor payments, including invoice review, progress tracking, and payment adjustments based on performance.
Maintain a focus on safety and health regulations throughout the project to protect personnel, contractors, and the public.
Lead start-up, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring they meet specifications before going online.
Work onsite with clients and partners to enable delivery and strengthen relationships.
Some in-person collaboration is expected to support work/life balance.
Salary: $90,000 - $145,000 per year
Compensation varies based on factors such as location, role, skills, and experience. We comply with local laws regarding salary ranges in states like California, Colorado, D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Washington.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management from a recognized university, or
Additional four years of construction management experience to compensate for education, or
Minimum of 8 years full-time experience managing construction projects, with at least 5 years in municipal water and wastewater projects, and
PE license or CCM certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
OSHA 10 or 30 training
Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes
Experience with pump stations, collection, and distribution systems
Experience working in an active treatment plant
Experience with large diameter pipe construction and reservoirs
Experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems installation and testing
Experience working with municipal agencies or utility organizations
