THE WORK:
You’ll report to the Sr. Construction Manager for scheduling and estimating, providing updates and detailed reports to ensure compliance with KPIs and project timelines.
You’ll supervise project schedulers, ensure timelines are met, and interface with stakeholders to review CPM schedules, project scope, and budget alignment.
You’ll assess staffing needs, make recommendations to enhance efficiency, and ensure resource availability.
You’ll develop and maintain detailed schedules for K-12 construction projects, identifying key relationships, milestones, and constraints.
You’ll interpret detailed construction drawings to understand scope and ensure tasks are scheduled properly.
You’ll review contractor schedules, verify scope, and work with contractors to address discrepancies.
You’ll perform QA/QC on contractor schedules, reviewing critical paths, resources, and logic relationships.
You’ll analyze change orders affecting schedules, negotiate delays, and settle delay claims.
You’ll review drawings for scope, identify time extensions, and ensure claims are documented.
You’ll conduct site walks, monitor progress, and communicate with contractors to address concerns.
The work is onsite with clients and partners to enable delivery and foster relationships.
$150,000 - $170,000 a year
Compensation varies based on factors like location, role, skills, and experience. We provide a reasonable salary range as required by local law in states including California, Colorado, D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Washington.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management from a recognized university, or
A bachelor’s degree in any field plus two years of relevant experience, or
At least eight years of full-time paid construction scheduling experience with an owner or general contractor.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
PMP, CCM, or related certifications
Experience with educational or public works projects
Proficiency in Primavera and MS Office
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Ability to build effective project teams
Knowledge of cost engineering, scheduling, and schedule forensics
