Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced JOC Construction Project Manager/Program Manager to oversee and manage multiple Job Order Contracting projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with specific expertise in JOC methodologies and practices. This role requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • JOC Project Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of assigned JOC projects from initiation to completion
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
    • Ensure compliance with JOC contract requirements, including pricing, scope of work, and performance metrics
    • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or concerns
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely project reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and performance metrics
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of project coordinators, estimators, and field personnel
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and project requirements
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project outcomes
    • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
    • Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback for professional development
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned JOC projects
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
    • Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions to clients in a timely and professional manner
    • Collaborate with clients to develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets
    • Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly and effectively
  • Quality Control and Safety:
    • Ensure all projects adhere to company quality standards and industry best practices
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites to maintain a safe working environment
    • Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify and address any deficiencies
    • Collaborate with the safety team to develop and implement project-specific safety plans
    • Stay up-to-date with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective execution of JOC projects
    • Monitor project expenses and revenue, identifying and addressing any variances
    • Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for JOC task orders
