Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and management of project budgets, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates during early design phases.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to analyze plans and ensure constructability.
- Coordinate bid solicitation, scope reviews, and subcontractor selection processes.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of project schedules and milestone timelines.
- Conduct market research for material costs, labor availability, and subcontractor performance.
- Participate in value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Maintain documentation for all pre-construction activities and ensure smooth handoff to construction teams.

The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate
- 2-4 years of experience in construction or real estate development, ideally within a pre-construction or estimating capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, and project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow within a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
