JobSummary:

Our client is looking for experienced Landscape Construction & Installation Crew Helpers and Laborers to join their team. The ideal candidate(s) will have hands-on experience in landscape installation, with commercial project experience being a plus. This role involves working with irrigation systems, planting, hardscaping, and operating various tools and equipment to complete high-quality landscape installations. Assist with the installation of landscapes, including planting, rock and bark placement, and soil preparation. Install irrigation systems, including piping, valves, and sprinkler heads. Operate various hand tools such as shovels, rakes, jackhammers, and blowers. Support the crew in using and maintaining equipment such as Bobcats, trenchers, and mini excavators (experience with this equipment is a plus). Follow landscape plans & drawings (ability to read plans is a plus). Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies. Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as needed. Work efficiently under the direction of a Foreman to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications:

Experience in landscape installation is required. Commercial landscape installation experience is a plus. Proficiency in irrigation installation, including trenching and laying out piping. Experience with power tools, hand tools, and small construction equipment. Ability to read and interpret landscape plans is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and attention to detail.

Location: Modesto, CA.

Pay Rate: Competitive pay based on experience ($19 - $25 per hour)
