Join one of South Florida’s most well-respected landscape development companies as a Landscape & Construction Project Manager (PM) . This role is ideal for a reliable, knowledgeable, and driven professional who thrives in managing construction and landscaping projects of varying complexity.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee multiple construction job sites, providing leadership and support to site superintendents while ensuring the timely, on-budget completion of projects. The PM will be responsible for project scheduling, labor coordination, procurement, and maintaining compliance with project specifications. Projects may include landscaping, irrigation, hardscaping, and site-related work involving subcontractors and crew management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution :
Develop and manage project schedules and task scopes.
Oversee preconstruction submittals and planning activities.
Ensure efficient project execution per contract documents, within budget, and on schedule.
Team & Resource Management :
Coordinate fieldwork crew requirements and manage labor force and subcontractors.
Procure materials and oversee logistics for timely project completion.
Monitor labor and material budgets, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Documentation & Compliance :
Draft and organize all project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and logs.
Document daily site activities with detailed reports, including photographs of work progress.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout all project phases.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement :
Act as the company’s representative, fostering strong relationships with clients, owners, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors.
Communicate effectively through written and oral channels, providing updates on project status.
Project Closeout :
Oversee the completion of punch list items and finalize project closeout documentation.
Leadership & Ethics :
Demonstrate leadership in safety, quality, and customer service.
Maintain high ethical standards and integrity in all operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience :
Proven experience as a Project Manager or Superintendent in construction or landscaping is required.
Experience in the landscaping industry ().
Certifications :
Operator, MOT, and Safety certifications are a plus.
Technical Proficiency :
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong email communication skills.
Comfortable using project management tools and technology.
Driving Record & Travel :
Clean driving record with flexibility to travel as needed.
Soft Skills :
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Additional Information
Familiarity with volume project turnarounds is a plus.
Participation in E-Verify required.
