We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for those who are interested in making a significant impact within a well-established and growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of litigation matters from start to finish, including conducting depositions, preparing for hearings and trials, and advising clients on the best legal strategies. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Litigation Attorney (construction), your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing all phases of litigation from inception to resolution, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, trial, and post-trial proceedings.
2. Conducting depositions of parties and expert witnesses.
3. Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
4. Representing clients in court and advocating on their behalf.
5. Strategically advising clients on legal rights and obligations.
6. Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect your clients and their cases.
7. Collaborating effectively with a team of professionals to provide top-notch legal service.
8. Performing legal research and analysis, both to prepare for cases and to advise clients on legal issues.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Attorney position must have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience- construction litigation or premises liability litigation experience required.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Proven experience conducting depositions, preparing for hearings, and trial preparation.
5. Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes favorably.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
