Summary
Responsible for managing system wide commercial New Construction Management processes and costs associated with adding new or expanding commercial, loads to the system in both competitive and non-competitive markets; development of relationships with key stakeholders. Manages a staff of New Construction Management Supervisors and New Construction Managers to meet and exceed customer and corporate expectations in connecting new and expanding customers, and system growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Provide end use customer, developer, municipal and other stakeholder interface to determine and meet electric delivery infrastructure requirements
Implement business and financial performance objectives to meet customer satisfaction goals as determined by company
Implement new construction processes and costs of adding new or expanding loads to the electric delivery system in both single and multi-certified areas
Assure compliance with regulatory and tariff requirements for system expansion (electric line extension policies)
Assure the implementation of asset plan initiatives
Analyze workload and assure sufficient and appropriate resources are available to meet objectives
Coordinate new construction management activities with other organizations in Oncor to ensure uniformity of response and provide reliable electric service
Assure effective working relationships with other departments
Responsible for managing and developing key relationships with strategic builders and developers
Assure effective and appropriate utilization of all regulatory documents required for serve new line extension projects
Refine, develop and implement system-wide process improvements for New Construction Management serve new processes specific to subdivisions and large commercial and industrial customers
Develop and implement on-going professional and organizational training plans for New Construction Management employees
Assure compliance with all applicable internal and external policies, standards, codes and guidelines as it relates to serve new line extension projects
Promotes and supports organization to achieve company’s Safety, Health and Wellness, Diversity and Ethics objectives
Develops innovative plans to meet and exceed NCM goals
Knowledge of company operations
Implements and supervises processes to ensure proper storm assistance is provided as needed from this work group
Define and measure Employee performance by objective and subjective criteria in conjunction with administrating the Company’s salary plan in a fair manner
Perform all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements

Proven proficiency and knowledge in management
Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
Developed project management skills
Education and Experience
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree or associate degree in a related field and minimum of 5 plus years of related work experience is encouraged to apply
In lieu of a degree, a least 8 years of experience in distribution engineering, distribution operations, and project management is encouraged to apply
