THE ROLE:
An exceptional career opportunity is available for a mechanically inclined senior sales professional in New York City.
This regional sales role focuses on obtaining mechanical system specifications for major construction projects. Youll collaborate closely with facility planners, end users, executives, and engineers while also coordinating with internal teams to ensure project success.
The ideal candidate will have a solid history of building relationships across industries such as data centers, semiconductor companies, pharmaceutical firms, universities, airports, hospitals, life sciences facilities, and/or EV battery manufacturing.
Regular client interaction is key, including hosting meals, attending events, and organizing social engagements several times per week. The role includes both in-person and remote interactions.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
MIN 7 years of experience in industrial territory sales or mechanical project management in a client-facing role
Proven ability to develop strong relationships in sectors such as data centers, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, academia, airports, healthcare, life sciences, or EV battery production
Solid technical knowledge of mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC
Personable, outgoing, and highly motivated to network and cultivate relationships
Able to travel to visit customers as needed
Bachelors degree required
Must be based in New York City
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Total projected compensation between $156K$234K
($150K$215K base salary DOE, plus uncapped bi-annual commissions/bonuses)
