Skilled Commercial New Construction Project Manager to oversee and execute commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising project execution, managing budgets and schedules, collaborating with internal and external teams, and ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
General Contract and Subcontract administration
Scheduling, logistics and procurement of equipment and materials
Shop drawing and submittal review and coordination
Project cost review, reporting, updating and accounting
Review of subcontractor and vendor applications for payment
Participation in and documentation of project coordination meetings
Coordination of ACIS labor and subcontractors’ field installations
Coordination with GC and all job site trades for successful completion of projects
Review and negotiate change proposal pricing with subs, vendors and subcontractors
Research and suggest options on construction means, methods and timelines
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any issues that arise
Problem solving and conflict resolution
Quality control & Project closeout
Requirements:
Basic qualifications
7+ years of experience in commercial new construction project management
10+ years of experience in installation of all Commercial and Industrial HVAC systems and equipment, including but not limited to: RTU’s, VRF Systems, VAV’s / FPB, AHU’s, Louvers, Split Systems, Chilled Water Systems
Ability to run work and manage crews to set the pace of the project to outperform project schedule and minimize the budget impact and durations onsite
Qualifications
PMP certification
Bachelor's in construction management, Engineering, or related field
Experience with MS Office Suite, Salesforce
