We’re currently hiring in Belvidere, Illinois to support a school district in need of Occupational Therapists. School-Based Occupational Therapist Contract Details: • $45 – $47 an hour • School-based Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) •School Year • Schedule: Part-time 3 days per week • Start Date: August 2025 • End Date: May 2026 • Location: Belvidere, IL • Assignment Details: Elementary School, Middle School, and High School: resource and life skills • Develop and implement educational and therapy programs based on evaluation results • Evaluates students to identify needs and determine eligibility for therapy services • Collect therapy data, maintain accurate student records, and monitor progress toward student goals • Work collaboratively and communicate with school interdisciplinary team and student guardians • Schedule follows the school district calendar • Will provide occupational therapy services according to student IEP • Assigned schools may include various grade levels • May be asked to travel between school locations • May be asked to supervise assistants At SHC, we prioritize students’ well-being above all, offering a broad range of benefits, programs, and support services to help you succeed in your role.
