Job Description
LaRiviere Inc. is looking for an experienced Oiler, Fueler, Lube Mechanic for the Coeur d Alene, Idaho / Spokane, Washington area.
This position requires experience lubrication and fueling all makes and models of construction equipment like: excavators, scrapers, dozers, compactors, backhoes, forklifts and loaders etc.
An Equipment Oiler/Fuelerperforms routine maintenance on heavy equipment, including fueling, greasing, and checking fluid levels.They may also assist with minor repairs and keep records of maintenance activities.Duties often involve operating a fuel truck or lube truck and ensuring equipment is in optimal working condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fueling and Lubrication:
- Fueling equipment, greasing moving parts, and checking fluid levels (oil, coolant, etc.).
- Routine Maintenance:
- Changing oil and filters, cleaning air filters, and performing other routine maintenance tasks.
- Equipment Inspections:
- Visual inspection of equipment for malfunctions, identifying potential issues, and reporting them to mechanics.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate records of fuel and maintenance activities, including work orders, logs, and service sheets.
- Operating Fuel/Lube Truck:
- Driving a fuel or lube truck to deliver fuel, oil, and grease to equipment in the field.
- Assisting Mechanics:
- Assisting mechanics with repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Safety:
- Following safety procedures and protocols, ensuring equipment is stored safely, and identifying and reporting hazardous conditions.
- Other Duties:
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning equipment or organizing tools.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Some experience with heavy equipment maintenance or in a similar role is often preferred.
- CDL:
- A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements may be required, depending on the specific job.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions and maintain records are essential.
- Physical Demands:
- The position may require physical exertion, such as lifting and carrying tools and parts.
This is a full time position with overtime.

Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
