Plumbing Drafter – AutoCAD | Commercial & Industrial Construction
Location: Schwenksville, PA
Pay: ~ +/- $33.65–$38.46/hr | ~ +/- $70K–$80K/yr
An established design and drafting firm is seeking a Plumbing Drafter with experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial projects. This position is responsible for drafting plumbing and fire protection systems for BIM coordination, prefabrication, and installation. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities: Draft plumbing systems: hot/cold water, sanitary/vent, storm, gas Create riser diagrams, schedules, and detailed schematics Work in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM experience preferred Coordinate with other trades and ensure code compliance (IPC, NFPA) Support design for mechanical rooms, roof drains, vent risers, etc.
Requirements: ~ 5+ years of plumbing drafting experience Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit a plus) Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and system design Detail-oriented and team-focused Plumbing design certification (e.g., ASPE) preferred
Job Info: Hours: M–F, 8:00AM – 5:00PM Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire | No Travel No remote or hybrid work Occasional OT available Business casual environment
