Job Description Summary

The Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining construction and skilled trades training programs at Prince George's Community College, serving Prince George's County and the Washington, DC Metro area. Reporting to the Department Chair of Technology, Engineering, and Construction (TEC), the coordinator ensures these programs align with regional industry needs and educational standards. Responsibilities include oversight of the Core Building Maintenance Engineer, HVAC, Plumbing, and Stationary Engineering programs. The coordinator also manages key contracts, including CASA, Local 1099, Adult Ed/Core partnerships, and other agreements related to Annex A programs

Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle, or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to a, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. No significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.
