Description
BMA is seeking a Program Manager to join our team. This is a remote position.
Job Summary Leads projects involving the successful management of teams composed of data processing and other information management professionals who have been involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information and/or telecommunications systems. Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, possibly involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations. Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, communicates, and supervises production of all contract support activities. Briefs mid- and senior-level officials. Establishes and alters corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.
Clearance Requirements
There is a Secret security clearance requirement for this role.
Required Skills & Certifications
• Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA / BS) Degree in relevant field. • Program or Project Management Certification, i.e., Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)). • 5+ years' experience in program management, including cost, quality, performance and regulatory control. • 10+ years leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility within the public and/or private sector in Information Technology (IT) and/or IT consulting fields. • Experience managing 15 - 30 employees in an on/off-site environment. • Experience with contract transitioning in and out. • Experience with business continuity plans, project plans, quality control plans, risk plans, security plans, plans of action and milestones (POA&M), • Experience with IT Acquisition process and its milestones, analyzing a variety of source documentation, and supporting the creation of acquisition documentation. • Strong written/oral skills, demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders.
Desired Skills & Certifications
• DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III (i.e., CISSP, CISM, GSLC and C-CISO.) • Master of Arts or Science (MA / MS) Degree in relevant field. • Familiarity with evaluating, recommending, and implementing technology upgrades. • Familiarity with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS). • Familiarity with retail inventory management. • Familiarity with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). • Familiarity with web-based materials management system, i.e., Virtual Item Manager - Wholesale Local (VIM), Ariba, etc. • Familiarity with Database Management Systems (DMBS). • Familiarity with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) reporting requirements. • Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and security checklists, policies, guidance, and industry best security practices. • Familiarity with Vulnerability Management, Certification and Accreditation, and Configuration Management. • Familiarity with one of more Enterprise Business Systems such as Distribution Standard System (DSS), Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS), Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), etc.
