JOB OVERVIEW:
The COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT COORDINATOR serves as a liaison between the Project Manager in the field and the office-based support team. This person is the functional lead of the support team, and will be involved in the formulation of the project phasing strategy and schedule. We seek a high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced, non-structured environment, who has a sense of urgency and strong time management skills, who is detailed oriented and effectively collaborates with diverse personalities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Collaborate with field Project Managers to develop and implement project strategies, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Ensure seamless data entry into our ERP system with the office support team, keeping project information up-to-date.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation for Construction Managers, so everyone knows what needs to be done.
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules, making sure everything arrives when it's needed.
- Facilitate weekly subcontractor payroll processing, ensuring everyone gets paid on time.
- Assist with Change Orders and document creation for project requirements, helping to keep things organized.
- Fulfill other project-related duties as needed to support the team.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; familiarity with Google Suite is advantageous.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills, to keep everyone informed and on track.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Prior construction industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Flooring industry knowledge or RFMS experience is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
