Veterans Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with direct experience in construction, renovation, or capital improvement projects. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the planning, execution, and close-out of infrastructure and facilities-based projects across our organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of construction project lifecycles, have experience coordinating with contractors and vendors, and be capable of managing documentation, schedules, and compliance efforts. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and can ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in full compliance with regulations and funder requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:
•Coordinate all phases of construction and capital improvement projects, including scope development, budgeting, contractor selection, and execution.
•Participate in the development of project plans, timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements.
•Organize and lead project kick-off meetings and progress meetings with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
•Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, architectural plans, change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
•Schedule and coordinate inspections, site walkthroughs, and meetings with engineers, contractors, architects, and funders.
•Assist with procurement and vendor management, including drafting RFPs and evaluating bids related to construction and infrastructure improvements.
•Track project deliverables, progress milestones, and overall performance using project management tools and spreadsheets.
•Monitor compliance with safety regulations, permit requirements, and internal policies.
•Track project budgets, expenditures, and invoices; flag cost overruns or schedule delays.
•Support grant-related project documentation and reporting; assist in preparing reports for city, state, and federal funders.
•Maintain a centralized system for active and completed project records.
•Conduct research and gather technical details to support informed project decisions.
•Assist with special infrastructure-related initiatives and other duties as assigned.
