We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Coordinator to oversee the construction and delivery of electrical control panels. This is a full-scale project coordination role focused on supervising multiple concurrent builds—typically managing 20 to 30 projects at any given time. The ideal candidate is experienced in production environments, excels at cross-functional communication, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight & Execution
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of control panel manufacturing projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
Monitor daily and weekly progress of all active jobs.
Proactively identify risks and roadblocks; initiate timely corrective actions.
Ensure quality standards are met and control panels meet all specified design and compliance requirements.
Team Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for shop technicians, builders, and other internal team members.
Provide daily guidance and support to shop floor personnel to maintain workflow and resolve production issues.
Promote collaboration between departments to streamline project timelines and enhance production efficiency.
Customer Interaction
Serve as the customer liaison on large-scale project issues that may affect price, scope, or delivery schedules.
Communicate significant changes or risks with transparency and professionalism.
Reporting & Meetings
Participate in and contribute to weekly planning meetings, providing updates on project status, timelines, resource needs, and escalations.
Maintain detailed and organized documentation for each job, tracking milestones, changes, and final outcomes.
Qualifications
Required
Proven experience in project coordination or management, ideally in electrical manufacturing or industrial automation.
Strong knowledge of electrical control panel construction or related technical fields.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of simultaneous projects.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project tracking tools and workflow systems
Preferred
PMP certification or equivalent project management training.
Experience working directly on a manufacturing floor or in a shop environment.
Familiarity with ERP or production scheduling software.
Work Environment
This position is based primarily in a production/manufacturing facility in West Jordan, Utah. Regular interaction with shop floor personnel, engineers, and management. Occasional visits with customers or suppliers may be required.
