Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily communications with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met
• Make and manage a high volume of phone calls to maintain schedules, confirm deliveries, and resolve issues
• Track project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Assist project managers with scheduling, procurement, and administrative support
• Maintain organized records and up-to-date project files
• Attend internal team meetings and provide status updates on project coordination tasks

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Candidate

• 2-5 years of experience in a construction or subcontractor coordination role (public construction experience a plus)
• Strong verbal communication and phone skills - confident, clear, and professional phone demeanor is essential
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with construction management software is a plus
• Comfortable working 5 days a week in-office in Northern New Jersey
