What Construction Project Estimator Will Be Doing
Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for commercial Construction projects
Analyze plans, drawings, and specifications to forecast project costs
Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to align on scope and budget
Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
Monitor and update budgets throughout project execution
Identify cost-saving strategies that maintain quality and performance
Maintain organized records of estimates and financial documentation
Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety codes, and internal procedures

Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
At least 2 years of experience in construction estimating (Commercial project experience preferred)
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations
Proficiency with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar)
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
Effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
