Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with project managers to monitor job cost performance and financial metrics across multiple construction projects. Analyze budget vs. actual cost reports; identify and communicate cost variances. Prepare monthly project forecasts, cash flow projections, and profitability analyses. Support monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting and revenue recognition in compliance with company policy and accounting standards. Assist with contract reviews and change order tracking to ensure accurate billing and revenue capture. Develop and maintain project dashboards and reports to support decision-making. Collaborate with accounting and operations to ensure alignment in cost tracking, billing, and closeouts. Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed to support project and executive teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or related field. 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the construction or engineering industry. Strong understanding of project cost accounting and construction operations. Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Sage, Procore) is a plus. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
