At Lensing Building Specialties and Architectural Sales our Architectural Sales Division provides specified building products and services for commercial and industrial construction projects. Our family-owned operation takes pride in meeting deadlines, accurate bids and meeting orders correctly and quickly.

We currently have an open Project Management Intern position. If you are seeking to learn about the construction industry and project management while pursuing a degree in construction management, engineering or related business field, this might be the opportunity for you. This part-time position is 20 hrs/week working on-site Monday-Friday (time of day is flexible).

  • Manage bid calendar meeting all bid deadlines
  • Assist in execution of bid process
  • Assist in tracking orders and scheduling deliveries in accordance with project schedule
  • Assist in the review of proposed change orders and their validity
  • Be willing to stretch into products and job management.
  • Engage in learning all steps of the project management process.

Qualifications:

Enrolled in a 4-year program in construction management, engineering, business or related field

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as MS Office projects and project management software.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
